GUIDED WALKS: Fairfield Horseshoe, Red Screes, Loughrigg Fell, Langdales Pikes

Date: Friday 22 September, Saturday 23 September and Sunday 24 September

Ambleside resident Hayley Webb, a qualified mountain leader who runs Hayley Webb Mountain Adventures, is organising mid- and high-level guided walks over three days of the festival, offering the Fairfield Horseshoe, the Langdale Pikes, Loughrigg Fell and Rydal Cave, and the Scandale Horseshoe, which includes Red Screes.

The cost is £20 per person with the following numbers catered for:

High-Level – maximum 12, Mid-Level – maximum 20.

No prior booking is required: first come, first served!

Meeting Point: Market Cross, Ambleside (Costa, Rohan, etc. – pedestrian precinct)

High-Level: 9.00am

Mid-Level: 10.00am

Sunday, Langdale Pikes: 9.00am

Mid-Level: Lily Tarn, Loughrigg Fell, Loughrigg Terrace, Rydal Cave.

Saturday 23 September

High-Level:  Scandale Horseshoe

Mid-Level:  Lily Tarn, Loughrigg Fell, Loughrigg Terrace, Rydal Cave.

Sunday 24 September

High-Level:  Langdale Pikes
